Conditions of Persons with Disability in Shelters in Light of the Forced Displacement

The Gaza Strip has been suffering from the ongoing Israeli Occupation siege since 2007, as it has imposed major restrictions on the movement of people and goods. The siege was a major obstacle to reconstruction, providing accommodations to buildings, or providing the basic needs and requirements of persons with disabilities before the war. Between the years 2008 and 2023, the Israeli Occupation launched five aggressive wars on the Gaza Strip, that has led to great losses of lives and properties. The imposed siege, in addition to these continuous wars, resulted in many humanitarian tragedies and wide scope destruction of infrastructure.
