The shadow report of the Stars of Hope Society for the Empowerment Women with Disabilities and the Social and Economic Policies Monitor (AL-MARSAD) concerning the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities represents the viewpoint of women and girls with disabilities on the commitment of the Palestinian government to its obligations towards this convention. This report was developed through wide participation of persons with disabilities, specifically women and girls with disabilities, as well as the organizations and associations representing persons with disabilities, human rights organizations, lobbying and advocacy institutions and research and women centers. The report was based on evidence and data from the government and its various institutions, in addition to reports and studies of partner organizations that cooperated in the completion of this report as well as an intensive field work to document cases of women and girls with disabilities.
