We, Social Sciences Department- Bethlehem University and the Arab council for Social Sciences - Focal office Palestine are sharing with you the call for papers for the Critical social work Forum in Palestine titled "For a Steadfast Society empowered by a Liberatory and Safety Net".
The forum aims to reflect on the Palestinian experience in social work, document it, and to provide a space to discuss theories and praxis within a colonized context. We are happy to announce that our two keynote speakers will be Prof. Nadera Shalhoub- Kevorkian, and Prof. Stephanie Wahab, to learn more about them please press the link.

Important dates to remember:
January 31, 2025 – Deadline for submitting all conference proposals. Proposals can include a paper on one of the themes, a roundtable, or a session. (Proposals may be submitted in Arabic or English.) Proposals for roundtables or sessions should include the list of speakers, the titles and the abstracts of the papers.
February 15, 2025 – Announcement of accepted proposals, including those eligible for publication in the conference’s special issue.
March 1, 2025 – Deadline for submitting full papers/contributions to be included in the Forum.
April 23 - 24, 2025 – Dates of the Forum.
